
ARIZONA — More than 4,000 homes and businesses across Arizona were without electricity as of Wednesday afternoon, according to the latest outage data.
A total of 4,108 customers were reported without power statewide, representing 0.22% of the 1,873,341 customers tracked.
Arizona currently ranks fifth in the nation for the total number of power outages and fourth nationwide for the percentage of customers affected.
Out of Arizona’s 14 counties, Navajo County reported the highest number of outages, with 3,683 customers without service. Navajo County is also the hardest hit by percentage, with 7.49% of its customers affected.
Other counties reporting outages include Maricopa with 169 customers affected, Coconino with 157, Apache with 41, Pinal with 15, Gila with 14, Yavapai with 11 and Pima with 10.
Among the 10 utilities tracked statewide, Arizona Public Service Company reported the largest number of customers without power, totaling 3,765 outages. Garkane Energy Cooperative reported the highest percentage of customers affected, with 2.15% without service.
Utility crews continue to monitor and respond to outages across the state.
