
PENNSYLVANIA — Thousands of Pennsylvania residents are without electricity Saturday morning, according to outage data from PowerOutage.com, as utility crews continue working to restore service across several regions of the state.
As of the latest update, approximately 36,901 customers were reported without power statewide out of more than 6.7 million customers tracked. The outages were spread across multiple counties, with the highest numbers reported in eastern and southeastern Pennsylvania.
Bucks County had the largest number of outages, with 4,434 customers without service. Monroe County followed closely with 4,408 outages, while Berks County reported 4,313 customers without power.
Northampton County recorded 2,943 outages, and Montgomery County reported 2,865. Chester County had 2,388 customers affected, while Lancaster County saw 2,127 outages. Schuylkill County reported 1,478 customers without electricity.
The outage map showed varying levels of impact by county, with some areas experiencing higher percentages of customers affected than others.
Residents experiencing outages are encouraged to report them directly to their electric utility and to use caution when dealing with downed power lines or electrical equipment.
