
OHIO — Thousands of Ohio residents are without electricity Friday morning as scattered power outages were reported across the state due to high winds, according to data from PowerOutage.com.
As of Friday morning, approximately 4,078 customers were reported without power statewide out of more than 5.36 million customers tracked.
The outages were spread across multiple counties, with Montgomery County reporting the highest number at about 1,334 customers without service. Trumbull County followed with roughly 1,130 outages, while Tuscarawas County reported about 582 customers affected.
Additional outages were reported in Lucas County with 241 customers without power, Franklin County with 175, and Cuyahoga County with 103. Smaller numbers of outages were also noted in Preble County, where 99 customers were affected, and Lake County with 74 outages.
Residents experiencing outages are encouraged to report them directly to their local utility providers and to follow safety guidance while power restoration efforts continue across Ohio.
