PENNSYLVANIA — Emergency crews responded Monday to a crash involving a school bus and an SUV in Monroeville. The crash occurred on Monroeville Boulevard near the entrance to Target and Giant Eagle.
Images from the scene show a Gateway School District bus and an overturned SUV. An ambulance initially responded but has since left.
According to Gateway’s assistant superintendent, five children who were on the bus were taken to a hospital as a precaution. Parents have been notified, officials said.
It remains unclear how many people were in the SUV or the extent of any injuries. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
