
INDIANA — One student was taken to the hospital following a school bus crash Thursday afternoon in Evansville, according to a spokesperson with the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC).
Authorities said the crash occurred on South Villa Drive at approximately 3:33 p.m. on March 12.
The EVSC spokesperson stated that one student was transported to a hospital with a possible leg injury following the incident.
As of 4:45 p.m., officers remained at the scene of the crash.
Officials have not yet said how many children were on the bus at the time of the crash or whether any other vehicles were involved. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
