OHIO — Southern Ohio residents may see some snow showers through this weekend, but nothing close to what northeast Ohio is seeing right now.
AccuWeather is forecasting snow showers in the most southern parts of Ohio including Jackson through the weekend.
The snow event is set to begin around 8 PM Saturday night and last until Sunday morning at 5 AM.
No winter advisories or watches have been issued for southern Ohio as of Saturday afternoon.
In Jackson and surrounding area, AccuWeather is forecasting less than an inch of snow from tonight through Sunday.
The cold temperatures could make for some slippery conditions, though.
Local forecasts along with current advisories, watches, and warnings may be viewed at weather.gov.
