SOUTH CAROLINA — Horry County Schools will operate on a normal schedule Monday following improved weather conditions.
In an email sent to staff, district officials said updated forecasts show reduced winter weather impacts for Horry County, allowing schools to resume regular operations.
Over the weekend, the district canceled all extracurricular activities and athletic events as a precaution due to the threat of winter weather. Those cancellations were made to ensure the safety of students, staff, and families.
Horry County Schools said it will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide updates if circumstances change.
