SOUTH CAROLINA — Authorities in Anderson County are investigating after a skull was discovered in a creek in the Homeland Park area.
According to officials, multiple agencies responded to the scene along Lawrence Road following reports of skeletal remains. Deputies say they are in the early stages of the investigation and are working alongside other agencies to search the area for any additional remains.
Few details have been released as the investigation continues. Authorities have not yet identified the remains or said how long they may have been in the creek.
