Six students injured following school bus crash in Pennsylvania

PENNSYLVANIA — Six children were hospitalized with suspected minor injuries following a crash involving a Reynolds school bus Tuesday night.

The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of N. Hermitage and Colt roads, according to a news release from Pymatuning Township Police Chief Mike Brown.

Preliminary investigations indicate that a white Ford F-150, driven by a man from Hermitage, ran a red light and struck the school bus, which was traveling through the intersection with about 45 people on board, including the driver.

Officials said the parents of the six children who were taken to the hospital were notified. The crash remains under investigation.
