Six people sent to hospital following crash on busy Ohio road

OHIO — Six people were injured in a four-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon at the intersection of West Sylvania Avenue and North Holland Sylvania Road in Lucas County.

The crash occurred shortly before 2:45 p.m., according to investigators.

Airbags deployed in three of the four vehicles involved.

All six individuals, who were adults, were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

Details on the severity of their injuries have not been released.

Sylvania firefighters responded to the scene, utilizing all four of their advanced life support (ALS) EMS transport units and multiple firetrucks to assist.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the incident.
