KANSAS — Six people were taken to a hospital after a rollover crash early Friday morning on Interstate 70 near Junction City, according to authorities.

The crash was reported at about 2:33 a.m. Friday on I-70 in Geary County, roughly four miles northeast of Junction City.

Officials with the Geary County Sheriff’s Office said a 2013 Chrysler 200 was traveling westbound on I-70 from the K-18 bypass when the driver lost control of the vehicle. Investigators said the car slid into a guardrail and then rolled off the road.

Authorities identified the driver as Kamyra Faust of Junction City. The vehicle was also carrying five passengers at the time of the crash.

All six occupants suffered minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The damaged vehicle was removed from the scene by Renegade Wrecker Service.
