OHIO — Six people were injured in a crash early Sunday morning on Interstate 71 in northeast Columbus, according to city public safety officials.
The incident happened around 5:15 a.m. on I-71 South near East Hudson Street.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported two people in critical condition — one to Grant Medical Center and another to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Four others were taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital with injuries described as stable.
All southbound lanes of I-71 at Hudson Street were closed for several hours while authorities investigated. The roadway has since reopened.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
