OHIO — Six people were arrested early Saturday morning on charges of kidnapping and assault, accused of holding a man against his will and subjecting him to violent abuse for several days.
Aaron Bradshaw, 49, Austin Bradshaw, 23, Michael Esqueda, 28, Martina Jones, 28, David Cessna, 26, and Chance Johnston, 27, were taken into custody on March 22 and booked into the Lucas County Jail.
They are scheduled to appear in court Monday morning.
According to police documents, the incident began around March 14 and lasted for approximately a week.
The victim was allegedly beaten with a baseball bat, forced to stand for long periods, allowed to eat and drink only once a day, and given just 10 hours of sleep over seven days.
Toledo police reported that the victim suffered injuries across his body.
Authorities have not disclosed a possible motive, and the investigation is ongoing.
