Six people arrested following drug bust in Wisconsin

WISCONSIN — Law enforcement agencies announced Wednesday that a major drug trafficking and fraud ring operating in Door Countyhas been dismantled following a coordinated operation involving multiple agencies.

According to the Door County Sheriff’s Office, investigators, along with the Sturgeon Bay Police Department and the Door County SWAT Team, executed two search warrants at residences and conducted what officials described as a “high-risk” traffic stop. Authorities did not disclose the specific locations of the searches.

The sheriff’s office said the operation concluded a months-long investigation into drug distribution and fraud activities spanning across the county. During the raids, officers seized approximately 125.6 grams of cocaine.

Six individuals have been arrested so far in connection with the case. Officials said additional arrests and charges are possible as the investigation continues.

Those arrested face a range of charges, including identity theft, fraud, cocaine distribution and possession with intent to distribute, conspiracy to distribute cocaine, marijuana possession with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, drug possession, carrying an electric weapon, and felony bail jumping.

Sheriff Tammy Sternard said her office continues to investigate the case. Authorities have not released the names of the suspects or additional details at this time.
