Silver Alert issued for missing person in Tennessee

TENNESSEE — Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating an 82-year-old Rutherford man reported missing Tuesday.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) issued a Silver Alert Wednesday morning for Larry Dillon, noting that he has a medical condition that may affect his ability to return safely without assistance.

Dillon was last seen wearing a polo shirt and khaki pants. He has blue eyes, gray hair, stands about 5′6″ tall, and weighs approximately 190 pounds.

Officials said Dillon may be driving a red 1994 Chevrolet Corvette with Tennessee license plate 892BFGD.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office at 615-898-7700 or the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
