Severe weather possible in Ohio this weekend

OHIO — Ohio residents should prepare for two rounds of showers and storms on Saturday, with the second wave potentially bringing severe weather.

The first system will move through the state in the morning, bringing widespread showers and gusty winds.

These storms are not expected to be severe.

A stronger system will arrive Saturday night into early Sunday, bringing the potential for strong to severe storms.

This second round could include gusty winds, heavy rain, and possibly hail.

While specific threats are still uncertain, residents are encouraged to review their severe weather plans.

The Storm Prediction Center is already showing a probability of severe weather for most of Ohio on Saturday, four days out.
