TEXAS — Thousands of Texas residents were without electricity as of the latest outage report, with power disruptions affecting several counties across the state.

According to outage tracking data updated minutes earlier, approximately 4,029 customers were without power statewide out of more than 15.4 million customers tracked.

The largest number of outages was reported in Travis County, where about 1,418 customers were experiencing power interruptions. Harris County followed with roughly 1,094 customers without electricity.

Additional outages were reported in Lubbock County, affecting about 361 customers, and in Galveston County, where approximately 295 customers were without power. Dallas County reported around 170 outages. Smaller numbers of customers were also impacted in Cameron County with 82 outages, San Patricio County with 62, and Collin County with 59.

Utility providers continued to monitor the situation and work to restore service. No immediate cause for the outages was listed in the data, and restoration times were not provided.

Customers experiencing outages are encouraged to report them directly to their utility company and to remain cautious, especially if severe weather or hazardous conditions are present in their area.
