TENNESSEE — The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for portions of Middle and West Tennessee, with heavy snowfall expected from Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning.
Middle Tennessee Forecast
Areas along and north of I-40, including Nashville, Clarksville, Gallatin, Lebanon, Dickson, Springfield, and Waverly, are expected to receive between 2 to 4 inches of snow, with localized amounts of up to 6 inches in the northwest counties.
The warning remains in effect from 9 p.m. Tuesday until noon Wednesday.
Road conditions are expected to become slick and hazardous, particularly on bridges and overpasses, which could impact the Wednesday morning commute.
West Tennessee Forecast
For counties including Dyersburg, Union City, Martin, Paris, Ripley, and Camden, snowfall totals are expected to range from 3 to 6 inches.
The winter storm warning for this region is in effect from noon Tuesday to noon Wednesday.
