PENNSYLVANIA — A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 7 a.m. Friday for several counties in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland, as heavy snowfall and strong winds continue to impact the region.
Roads, especially bridges and overpasses, are expected to become slick and hazardous, posing a risk for drivers.
The storm could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes, with low visibility and difficult travel conditions.
Officials urge travelers to exercise caution, keep an emergency kit with a flashlight, food, and water in their vehicles, and check road conditions by dialing 511 or visiting their state’s traffic website.
Residents can report snow or ice accumulations to the National Weather Service Pittsburgh at 412-262-1988, via the NWS Pittsburgh Facebook page, or on Twitter @NWSPittsburgh.
