Several inches of snow expected in parts of Pennsylvania Thursday

PENNSYLVANIA — The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Northwest Pennsylvania, effective from 4 a.m. Thursday through 7 a.m. Friday.

Snowfall totals of 2 to 5 inches are expected across the advisory area, with snowfall rates of 0.5 to 1 inch per hour possible.

Cities such as Erie, Edinboro, and Meadville are expected to see accumulations of 4 to 6 inches, while areas like Corry and Andover could receive 3 to 4 inches.

Travelers are urged to plan ahead, as both the Thursday morning and evening commutes will likely be impacted by slippery roads and reduced visibility.
