Semi-truck fire shuts down portion of I-75 in Ohio

OHIO — A semi truck caught fire Saturday night on Interstate 75 near the Interstate 70 interchange in Ohio.

Responders blocked a portion of the interstate as they worked to extinguish the flames. The roadway has since been reopened to traffic.

Photos from the scene show the semi fully engulfed in fire, with thick black smoke rising into the sky.

Authorities have not yet confirmed if anyone was injured in the fire.

Crews worked quickly to contain the blaze and clear the scene.
