OHIO — A crash involving an overturned semi truck shut down a major section of Route 8 southbound Thursday morning, creating heavy traffic delays in the area.
According to Stow police, the accident occurred just before 8 a.m. near Steels Corners Road.
As a result, Route 8 southbound is closed between Seasons Road and Graham Road.
Police are urging drivers to avoid the area and find alternate routes while crews work to clear the scene and reopen the roadway.
No word has been released yet on possible injuries or how long the closure will last.
