NORTH CAROLINA — Authorities are searching for Ann Houghton, a 73-year-old hiker who was reported missing in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Houghton was last seen on Jan. 28 and was scheduled to complete her hike by Jan. 29.
Her vehicle, a 2023 green Subaru Forester, was found at Smokemont Campground.
Search efforts are focused on Bradley Fork, Chasteen Creek, Hughes Ridge, and Enloe Creek trails in North Carolina.
Houghton is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 105 pounds, with brown and gray hair and blue eyes.
