School districts in Ohio announce closures for Wednesday

OHIO — Several Ohio schools have announced closures and delays for Wednesday, January 15, due to various circumstances, including water issues and inclement weather.

The following schools will be closed:

  • Franklinton High School
  • Ridgewood Local Schools

Constellation Schools: Lorain Community Elementary and Middle Schools are affected by water outages.

Dayton Public Schools will have a remote learning day.

Several districts have announced delays of two hours:

  • Adams Brown Head Start (Limited bus service)
  • Adams County/Ohio Valley Schools
  • Eastern Local Brown County Schools
  • Fairfield Local Schools (Highland County) (No AM preschool, no breakfast)
  • Georgetown Exempted Village Schools
  • Lynchburg/Clay Local Schools
  • Ripley/Union/Lewis/Huntington Schools
