INDIANA — The eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 are closed following a crash involving a school bus Monday evening.

The accident occurred around 5 p.m. near the 119-mile marker on I-70 eastbound. Authorities later diverted traffic off the interstate at Exit 115, the SR 109 exit in Knightstown.

The crash involved four vehicles, including the school bus. Four people were taken to hospitals from the scene, with one transported to a hospital in Indianapolis.

The fire department said it is currently unknown when the interstate will reopen.
