ALABAMA — Police are investigating a robbery after a man was attacked Tuesday night in Mobile, according to the Mobile Police Department.
Authorities said officers were called around 8 p.m. March 31 to the area of Summerville Street for a report of a robbery that had occurred earlier in the evening.
According to police, a suspect struck the victim with an object while the man was walking near Downing Street and demanded his wallet.
Officials have not released information about the victim’s condition or whether any arrests have been made.
The case remains under investigation.
