KENTUCKY — A rapper was arrested Sunday after reportedly filming a video and dancing on a concrete barrier in the middle of Interstate 75.
According to court documents, officers responded around 6 p.m. to reports of several people running on the interstate.
When they arrived, they found 27-year-old Enoch Tolbert, who performs under the stage name Armani White, crossing lanes of traffic and forcing vehicles to slow down.
Police said Tolbert then climbed onto the concrete median barrier and began dancing. He told officers that he and others had pulled over on I-75 to shoot a video.
Tolbert was arrested at the scene and taken to the Laurel County Detention Center but has since been released. He faces misdemeanor charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and stopping, standing, or parking on a limited-access highway.
Tolbert’s arraignment, initially scheduled for Monday, was rescheduled, and a pretrial conference is now set for later this month.
