
FLORIDA — Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and producer Jhayco was arrested early Tuesday morning on drug charges, according to online jail records.
Jhayco, whose real name is Jesus Manuel Nieves Cortes, 32, was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at 4:24 a.m.
He faces charges of possession of cocaine and possession of 20 grams or less of cannabis.
As of Tuesday morning, Jhayco was being held on a $3,000 bond.
Jhayco released his debut studio album, Famouz, in 2019 following several EPs. Additional details about the arrest were not immediately available.
