Portion of I-69 in Indiana closed due to stuck semi-truck

INDIANA — A portion of Interstate 69 is expected to remain congested for an extended period after a semi-truck became stuck on a concrete barrier wall in a construction zone.

According to DeKalb County dispatch, the incident occurred near the 328 mile marker southbound.

As a result, the southbound entrance ramp to I-69 at the 329 mile marker is currently closed.

Officials say traffic in the area will remain backed up until the truck can be safely removed.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible.
