Portion of I-10 in Louisiana shut down following deadly vehicle crash

LOUISIANA — One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 westbound between Welsh and Lacassine, authorities confirmed.

The crash occurred between the Welsh and Lacassine areas and has blocked the left westbound lane of I-10 past Louisiana Highway 99, also known as the Welsh exit, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
