
FLORIDA — Law enforcement agencies seized a large quantity of illegal drugs, including more than 100,000 pills, during an early morning raid Thursday at a home in Deltona, according to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.
The operation was part of an ongoing joint investigation involving the Volusia Sheriff’s Office, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Volusia Bureau of Investigation (VBI), the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the raid was one of several search warrants executed as part of a broader effort to dismantle a drug trafficking organization believed to be operating not only in Volusia County but across the country.
According to investigators, the search of the Deltona property uncovered:
- Three kilograms of cocaine
- Twelve pounds of methamphetamine
- Five pounds of MDMA powder
- Over 100,000 pills of various types
- Twelve pounds of psilocybin mushrooms
Officials have not yet released information about arrests or charges related to the raid.
The investigation remains ongoing.
