OHIO — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying three suspects accused of pointing a gun at a 12-year-old boy and stealing his cell phone Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Duggan Park.
According to a media release, the child had been playing basketball when three unknown males approached him.
Police said that after a brief interaction, one of the suspects pulled out a black handgun, demanded the boy’s cell phone and forced him to his knees before the group fled with the device.
The incident was captured on camera, but investigators say the video does not clearly show the suspects’ faces. Police noted that two of the individuals have distinctive hairstyles that may help identify them.
