Police searching for wanted theft suspect in Alabama

ALABAMA — Authorities in Jefferson County are searching for a woman wanted on a felony retail theft charge, according to Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.

Officials say 53-year-old Katina Jetuan Jones is wanted on a warrant charging her with first-degree retail theft. The warrant was issued March 14, 2026.

Jones is described as a Black female, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing around 180 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Her date of birth is listed as July 28, 1972.

According to authorities, Jones’ last known address is in the 100 block of Beasley Drive in Birmingham.

The warrant was issued through the Birmingham Court Division and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials urge anyone with information on Jones’ whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama. Tips can be provided anonymously, and authorities say information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward.

The case remains active as law enforcement continues efforts to locate her.
