SOUTH CAROLINA — Deputies in Marlboro County are searching for a man wanted in connection with a stabbing that occurred Sunday evening in the McColl area.
Christopher Harrison Strickland, 31, is wanted for assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, according to Chief Deputy Larry Turner of the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office.
Strickland is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes.
He is known to frequent the McColl area.
Authorities say the victim is in stable condition after suffering a laceration that required medical treatment. The investigation is still in its early stages.
Anyone with information on Strickland’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office.
