ALABAMA — Police are searching for a woman wanted in connection with a deadly stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning.
According to the Opelika Police Department, officers responded around 12:30 a.m. to the 600 block of Comanchee Drive, where they found a woman in a crashed vehicle.
Investigators soon discovered the woman had suffered multiple stab wounds.
The victim was transported to East Alabama Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries. Her identity has not yet been released.
Authorities have identified 35-year-old Tempest Vanshay Reese as the suspect in the case.
Investigators have not released information about a possible motive.
