Police searching for wanted shooting suspect in South Carolina

SOUTH CAROLINA — The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect following a shots fired incident Sunday night in Burton.

Deputies responded to Milledge Village Road shortly before 8:30 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire, a sheriff’s office spokesperson said. No one was injured.

On Wednesday, investigators identified the suspect as 23-year-old Theodore Lamont Frazier Jr. He is wanted on charges of aggravated breach of peace and pointing and presenting a firearm in connection with the incident.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating Frazier. Anyone with information is urged to contact Staff Sergeant Tunis at 843-255-3426. Anonymous tips may be submitted through Crime Stoppers of Beaufort County via the P3 Tips app, online at tipsbft.com, or by calling 844-847-7238.
