INDIANA — Police are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning at Weisser Park.
The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) announced on Facebook that 39-year-old Jamarcus Williams is wanted for aggravated battery and attempted murder related to the incident.
Officers responded around 3 a.m. on July 12 to a disturbance on Weisser Park Avenue.
Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital in life-threatening condition.
