
OHIO — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect accused of shooting a cashier during a robbery at a Save-A-Lot store on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred around 8 a.m. at the store located on Superior Avenue near Lakeview Road.
According to Cleveland police, the suspect entered the store in broad daylight and shot a 39-year-old female cashier during the robbery. The victim was taken to the hospital and remains in critical condition.
On Tuesday, police released surveillance photos of the suspect.
He is described as wearing a gray hoodie, jeans, a black mask, and light-colored tennis shoes. He was also carrying a light-colored bookbag.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
