INDIANA — The Fort Wayne Police Department is actively searching for a man believed to be connected to a shooting that left two people dead earlier Thursday. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
Police are looking for 29-year-old Shan L. Ford Jr., described as a Black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 225 pounds with a heavy build.
He has short hair and brown eyes.
A large police presence was seen Thursday evening near a home in the 4100 block of South Clinton Street, where officers were believed to be searching for Ford Jr.
Anyone with information on Ford Jr.’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Fort Wayne Police Department, Crime Stoppers at 260-436-STOP, or use the P3 Tips app. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
