SOUTH CAROLINA — Police are searching for a wanted person who fled from officers Tuesday afternoon in Horry County, authorities said.
According to the Horry County Police Department, the suspect ran from officers on foot in the area near Old Loris Longs Road and Round Swamp Road. No additional details about the suspect have been released.
Police said residents in the area may notice an increased law enforcement presence while the search continues.
Authorities are asking anyone who sees suspicious activity in the area to contact 911.
