Police searching for wanted fugitive in Ohio

OHIO — Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating a woman wanted for felony theft in Columbus.

Valerie Baxter, 39, is wanted in connection with a theft case.

She is described as a White female, 5 feet tall, weighing approximately 110 pounds, with a date of birth of February 10, 1986.

Police say Baxter is known to frequent the Near East Side of Columbus. Law enforcement officials are urging anyone who sees her or has information regarding her whereabouts to contact authorities.

Tips can be submitted anonymously through Central Ohio Crime Stoppers. Authorities remind the public not to approach Baxter, as she should be considered potentially dangerous.
