OHIO — Cincinnati Police District One is searching for 22-year-old Ervin Binford, wanted on multiple charges including felony aggravated menacing, felony escape, misdemeanor failure to comply with a police officer, and misdemeanor resisting arrest.
Officers responded on August 6, 2025, to reports of a disorderly man banging on residents’ doors and yelling at an apartment building.
Police found Binford at the rear of the building, where he was yelling and refusing to follow orders. He allegedly made verbal threats to shoot an officer if they did not leave him alone.
Binford was taken to UC Hospital for treatment before being transferred to the Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) for evaluation. During the transfer, he escaped custody.
Binford is described as a Black male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds. He has no known criminal history and was last known to live on Kellerman Avenue in Roselawn.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward. Binford has been wanted since August 11, 2025.
