OHIO — The Colerain Township Police Department is actively searching for 37-year-old James Robert Jones Jr., who is wanted on several felony and misdemeanor charges, according to Greater Cincinnati Crime Stoppers.
Jones is wanted for Felony Receiving Stolen Property, Felony Probation Violation, Felony Possession of a Drug Abuse Instrument, and a Misdemeanor Probation Violation.
On July 5, 2025, police say Jones was found in possession of a stolen vehicle. After being taken into custody, he reportedly admitted to driving the stolen vehicle to collect scrap metal.
Described as a 5-foot-11, 190-pound white male, Jones has a long criminal history that includes multiple offenses such as vehicle theft, fraud, and drug abuse. He was last known to reside on Illinois Avenue in Reading, Ohio.
Jones was officially listed as wanted as of August 4, 2025. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Greater Cincinnati Crime Stoppers. Tips can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
