OHIO — Miami Valley Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for using counterfeit currency at a local store.
According to officials, the suspect passed five fake $100 bills at the Dollar General located at 2821 Linden Avenue in Dayton.
The incident involved the use of counterfeit money to make purchases, and authorities are now working to track down the individual responsible.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned male between 18 and 25 years old.
He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt. His name and race are currently unknown.
Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is urged to contact Miami Valley Crime Stoppers. Tips can be submitted anonymously and may be eligible for a cash reward.
