OHIO — Cincinnati Police District Three is asking for the public’s help in locating Michael Owensby, who is wanted in connection with a domestic violence incident that occurred on September 12, 2025.
Authorities said Owensby, 36, allegedly punched and choked the victim during a domestic dispute, leaving visible injuries. He faces charges of felony strangulation and misdemeanor domestic violence.
Owensby is described as a Black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 171 pounds.
Police say he has a criminal history that includes drug possession and failure to appear in court. He was last known to live on Tremont Avenue in the Fairmount area.
Anyone with information about Owensby’s whereabouts is urged to contact Greater Cincinnati Crime Stoppers or the Cincinnati Police Department. Authorities warn that Owensby should not be approached and to report any sightings immediately.
