Police searching for wanted fugitive in North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA — Authorities are searching for 56-year-old Timothy Wayne Berry, who is wanted in connection with forgery and property crimes, Fayetteville/Cumberland County Crime Stoppers announced.

Berry is described as a white male, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, with blue eyes and blonde hair.

He faces charges of uttering a forged instrument and obtaining property by false pretense.

Officials say Berry may be attempting to avoid law enforcement.

Anyone with information on Berry’s whereabouts is urged to contact Fayetteville/Cumberland County Crime Stoppers or local law enforcement to assist with the ongoing investigation.
