
INDIANA — The Michiana Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman wanted in connection with a violent battery case in St. Joseph County, Indiana.
According to Crime Stoppers, Teya Penrod has been wanted since Jan. 21, 2026. Penrod is facing charges that include battery by means of a deadly weapon and battery resulting in moderate bodily injury. Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances of the alleged incident.
Penrod is described as a Caucasian female, standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She is wanted by authorities in St. Joseph County, Indiana.
Law enforcement officials urge anyone who may know Penrod’s whereabouts not to approach her, but instead to contact Crime Stoppers or local law enforcement. Tips to Michiana Crime Stoppers can be submitted anonymously, and information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
