Police searching for wanted fugitive in Indiana

INDIANA — Law enforcement officials are seeking the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with a violent crime in St. Joseph County.

Jamarr Williams, a 5-foot-9, 150-pound Black male with black hair and brown eyes, is wanted for battery by means of a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon.

Authorities reported that Williams has been wanted since August 21, 2025.

Police urge anyone with information on Williams’ whereabouts to contact local law enforcement or Michiana Crime Stoppers. No further details about the incident have been released, as the investigation remains active.
