Police searching for wanted fugitive in Georgia

GEORGIA — Law enforcement officials are searching for a Houston County man wanted on multiple charges related to a family violence incident.

According to Macon Regional Crime Stoppers, Damion J. McCormick, 28, is currently wanted by the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.

He faces charges of Battery – Family Violence and Criminal Trespass involving damage to property, also classified under family violence statutes.

McCormick is described as a Black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds.

Authorities have not released further details regarding the incident or the date of the alleged offenses.

Anyone with information about McCormick’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Houston County Sheriff’s Office or submit an anonymous tip to Macon Regional Crime Stoppers. All tips can remain confidential.
