Police searching for wanted drug suspect in Alabama

ALABAMA — Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman wanted on a felony drug trafficking warrant in Jefferson County.

According to Crime Stoppers, Jakierra Snipes, 24, is wanted by the Birmingham Court Division and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in connection with a felony charge of drug trafficking. Snipes has been wanted since Dec. 1, 2025.

Authorities describe Snipes as a Black female, standing approximately 5 feet tall and weighing about 190 pounds. She has short black hair and brown eyes. Her date of birth is Aug. 21, 2001.

Crime Stoppers reports that Snipes’ last known address was in the 4100 block of South Indiana Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. Investigators believe she may no longer be in the area and are seeking information that could lead to her arrest.

Anyone with information about Snipes’ whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama. Tips can be submitted anonymously, and information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
